Augusta On-Campus Housing & Meals Policy

·    Housing in Davis & Elkins College residence halls is available only to students enrolled in full-time Augusta classes and to paying chaperones of students under 18 (First come, first served).

·    Students under the age of 18 must be housed with a paying adult student/chaperone in order to stay on campus.

·    Chaperones staying on campus and not registered as students must pay a $100 chaperone fee.

·     Housing prices include tax and a $25 non-refundable non-transferrable administrative housing fee.

·    Spring Augusta Week and Summer Weeks 1-4 include 6-night stay (Check-in Sunday and Check-out  Saturday).

·    Summer Week 5 and October Old-Time Week include 7-night stay (Check-in Sunday and Check-out Sunday).

·    Dorm rooms are double occupancy.  Private rooms may be requested, but are not guaranteed.

·    Summer dorm housing prices include all meals.

(Wks 1-4 = 17 meals.  Wk 5 = 19 meals).

·    Meals may be purchased separately for those staying off-campus.

·    An adult with a child will be placed with another roommate only if both adults confirm the request.  If one adult and one child share a room, each pays full price, regardless of the child’s age.

·    Discount rates* for a youth sharing a room (sleeping bag space) with two other students: age 7-13 (as of class date) – * Please call Melody Wileman at 304-637-1808 for current discount price.

2010 October Old-Time Week Housing
Graceland Conference Center

Graceland’s Conference Center offers motel-type accommodations on campus for October Old-Time Week participants. Each room has its own bath.

Pay only a $25 non-refundable processing fee now to reserve a room; the balance will be due at check-in. All prices are for 7 nights. Meals are not included in the room rate but may be purchased at check-in: 12 meals for $100, 17 meals for $135, 19 meals for $150. Meals may also be purchased individually at the door. Other on-campus dining options are the Cadillac Daddy Cafe in the Madden Student Center and the Mingo Room restaurant in Graceland Inn.

Room prices for Graceland Inn are somewhat higher. For these, please call 1-800-624-3157 or 304-637-1600 for reservations, and ask for Laura Kelley.
