John Rossbach

Acclaimed actor, Tom Kenny, aka SpongeBob SquarePants, says: “John Rossbach sounds like a perfect cross between John Lee Hooker and Bill Monroe!”  Originally from Buckhannon, West Virginia, he has sung and played mandolin and guitar with his award-winning bluegrass ensemble, John Rossbach & Chestnut Grove, for twenty-one years. He’s recorded on Rounder Records, received eight Meet the Composer awards, and appeared on the Nashville Network, PBS, CBS, the BBC, and the Canadian Broadcasting System. He’s even sung on several 2006 episodes of The Guiding Light! John appears on CDs and videos by Pete Seeger, Bill Keith, The Woodshed All Stars, Ken Perlman and Don Stover.
