Allen Holmes is a lifelong musician beginning with piano as a child, trombone as a teen, and is now a multi-instrumentalist playing bass, piano, and harmonica as well as performing at blues, jazz and Gospel festivals and churches throughout the country. For over 10 years, Allen has been a featured instructor at SPAH festivals, Buckeye Harmonica festivals, and at Centrum in Port Townsend. In 2000 and 2006, he released CDs entitled “Doris in Mind” and “I Want Jesus to Walk With Me”, both featuring the vocals of Alison Chase Radcliffe. A gifted teacher, Allen draws parallels between both musical and personal growth.
