Marion Harless


Marion Harless grew up in the West Virginia woods. She has gardened since the age of three, began leading nature walks and has taught herbs and organic gardening classes for well over three decades. A naturalist, comparative psychologist, and wildlife biologist, she has directed nature museums, taught at several universities, and has numerous popular and scientific publications including a research book on turtles. Her use of wild and cultivated herbs extends to many aspects of her life, including dyeing, weaving, and papermaking.
