Emily Oleson

Emily Oleson has a BA in dance from James Madison University, and has been teaching dance for the past nine years. She has also studied traditional, as well as contemporary urban forms of dance in many different settings ranging from folk festivals to major studios in New York and London. She has been on staff at Augusta for the last two years as Dance Week liaison. This year she is delighted to be assisting Cis Hinkle again and offering a week long hip hop class. Hip hop is a quickly evolving and highly individualized form of movement. Emily's class will focus on appreciating personal interpretation and expression. All levels, ages, backgrounds welcome.
