Dave Bing

Dave Bing of Roane County, West Virginia, plays and records with the West Virginia band Gandydancer and has made several solo recordings. He is a veteran teacher and musician, with many years of teaching and performing throughout the United States and abroad. He plays a wide variety of West Virginia music, from the Hammons Family to more recent styles. Widely respected for his teaching ability, Dave really knows how to advance students along the road to satisfactory results. Students will broaden their repertoire as they gain in proficiency, learning by ear in the oral tradition.
