James Bryan

James Bryan has been playing the fiddle since the age of eleven. He is well-known for his superb southern-style fiddling with The Rising Fawn String Ensemble—the award-winning group that also included Carl Jones and Peter Ostrousko, with Norman & Nancy Blake. In this class the emphasis will be on developing and perfecting good bowing techniques and intonation, while adding to repertoire from a wide variety of styles and geographic areas.
