2008 Augusta Craft Class Letter

Hello, stained glass students,

I知 looking forward to seeing you in July at Augusta, when we値l put the glass cutters and soldering irons to work. We値l get lots of work done and hopefully have some fun in the meantime.

Here is a short and simple list of items I壇 like for you to bring:

  • An apron that you won稚 mind getting dirty.

  • Playtex gloves.

  • Bubble wrap for finished products.

  • Safety glasses, if you have them. I will have some to lend also.

If you have worked with stained glass before and have tools you you are comfortable with, feel free to bring them. Otherwise, I will supply all necessary tools and supplies.

You may contact me with any questions or concerns at dave@houserglass.com or (304) 892-4272.

My emphasis for the class will be on proper glass cutting and soldering techniques. Once these skills are acquired, our emotions are more open to the creative ideas within us all.

Thanks for your interest in the ancient art of stained glass. I値l see you in Elkins. (P.S. I値l bring the bandaids).

David Houser
